In accordance with the wishes of its benefactor, The Andrew J. Kuehn Jr. Foundation seeks to support and encourage the following kinds of activity and inquiry.

Original research into the history of the motion picture industry, especially the origins, development, current practice and likely future of audio-visual movie marketing.

Preservation of film, film media (analogue and digital formats) and published materials of historical significance, especially relating to the art and business of promotional filmmaking.

Dissemination of information and educational materials to schools, archives and institutions that teach and preserve film art and film marketing.

Education in film artand film marketing. Career enrichment for those employed in film artand film marketing.

Film Festivals, public symposia, public screenings and film-arts related publications.

Achievement in film art and film marketing: Achievement in research and scholarship pertaining to film art and film marketing.
